Notion
Bi-directional sync between Notion databases and Delegate tasks, projects, and knowledge — with automatic conflict resolution.
#What syncs
- Notion databases → Delegate tasks — any Notion database with a date and title property can sync as tasks
- Delegate tasks → Notion — tasks created or updated in Delegate push changes back to Notion in real time
- Notion pages → Knowledge Base — Notion pages can be imported as knowledge entries
ℹ️Note
File attachments in Notion do not sync to Delegate. Only text and metadata properties are synced.
#Connecting Notion
1
Go to Settings → Integrations → Notion
Click Connect Notion.
2
Authorize and select pages
Notion's OAuth screen will ask which pages and databases you want to share. Select the databases you want to sync and click Allow access.
3
Map databases to Delegate
In the Notion integration settings, map each Notion database to a Delegate project. Set which Notion properties correspond to Delegate fields (title, due date, priority, assignee).
4
Run initial sync
Click Sync Now to import existing Notion records. New items are synced automatically going forward.
#Conflict resolution
When the same record is edited in both Notion and Delegate before a sync completes, a conflict is created. Delegate shows unresolved conflicts in Settings → Integrations → Notion → Conflicts. For each conflict you can:
- Keep the Delegate version
- Keep the Notion version
- Merge both (opens a side-by-side editor)
#Sync dashboard
View real-time sync activity in Settings → Integrations → Notion → Sync Dashboard. It shows:
- Last sync timestamp
- Records synced in the last 24 hours
- Pending operations queue
- Error log with retry options
💡Tip
Use the Pause Sync toggle to temporarily stop syncing — useful during bulk edits in Notion or Delegate.
