Delegate complex, multi-step workflows to autonomous AI agents — directly from tasks, meetings, and the Copilot panel.

#What are AI Agents?

AI agents execute multi-step workflows on your behalf. When you delegate a task to an agent, it takes over — researching, writing, querying external APIs, or coordinating with other services — and reports back through the task's comment thread.

ℹ️Note
AI agent integration is a Beta feature available on Pro and Team plans.

#Connecting an Agent Runtime

Go to Settings → Integrations → Agent Runtime

Click Connect Agent Runtime.

Enter your credentials

Paste your server URL and access token. These are available in your agent server dashboard.

Configure agent profiles

Create one or more Agent Profiles — each profile defines a specific agent persona, capability set, and tool permissions.

#Delegating a task to an agent

Open any task

Navigate to the task you want to delegate.

Click Delegate to AI

In the task detail panel, click the Delegate to AI button.

Select an agent profile

Choose from your configured agent profiles. Each profile shows its capabilities and estimated completion time.

Describe the goal

Add any additional context or specific instructions for the agent in the Goal field.

Monitor progress

The agent reports back in real time through the task comment thread. You'll receive a notification when it completes or needs your input.

#Agent templates

Agent templates are pre-built workflows for common tasks. Delegate ships with built-in templates for:

  • Research Brief — research a topic and produce a structured report
  • Email Outreach — draft and send a sequence of outreach emails
  • Meeting Prep — gather context and create a meeting agenda
  • Document Review — analyze a document and produce feedback

Create custom templates in Settings → Integrations → Agent Runtime → Templates.

#Board meeting agents

In a Board Meeting, you can invite an AI agent as a participant. The agent can:

  • Present pre-researched findings on an agenda item
  • Answer questions from human participants
  • Vote on decisions (with a configurable weight)
💡Tip
Use agent participants to automate recurring board meeting reporting — the agent fetches the latest metrics and presents them without any manual prep.
