AI Copilot

The AI Copilot is the intelligence layer running throughout Delegate. It reads your connected data — emails, calendar, tasks, conversations — and surfaces the right action at the right time. Think of it as a smart assistant that's always running in the background, ready to help when you need it.

The Copilot continuously monitors your inbox and calendar and generates suggestions shown in the AI Review queue:

• Draft reply — a context-aware reply to an email waiting for your response
• Create task — an action item detected in an email or meeting
• Flag urgent — an email or task that needs immediate attention
• Schedule meeting — a suggested meeting time based on email conversation
• Summarize thread — a TL;DR of a long email thread

Each suggestion has an Approve and Dismiss button. Approve to take the action, dismiss to skip it. Dismissed suggestions train the AI not to surface similar items in future.

When your inbox syncs, the Copilot automatically:

• Assigns a category label (Action Required, FYI, Newsletter, Receipt, Urgent)
• Extracts key people, dates, and action items from the email body
• Scores urgency based on sender, subject, and email content
• Groups related threads from the same project or topic

Open the AI panel and you can have a free-form conversation with your Copilot. Sample prompts:

• "What's on my plate today?"
• "Summarize the last 5 emails from Sarah"
• "Draft a follow-up for the Q3 budget meeting"
• "What tasks are overdue?"
• "Schedule a 30 minute call with the design team this week"

The Copilot has full context across your inbox, calendar, tasks, and contacts — no copy-pasting required.

Delegate processes AI requests through your chosen LLM provider (configured in Settings → AI Providers). By default, requests are sent to the Delegate cloud AI endpoint. Your email content is never used to train any public model.
