Unified Inbox

All your Gmail accounts in a single, AI-powered inbox — with smart categorization and one-click actions.

#Overview

The Delegate inbox aggregates all your connected Gmail accounts into one clean feed. Emails are automatically categorized, prioritized, and enriched by the AI Copilot — so you always know what to read first.

#AI labels and triage

Every email receives an AI label automatically:

  • Action Required — needs a reply or decision from you
  • FYI — informational, no response needed
  • Newsletter — subscriptions and digests
  • Receipt — invoices, confirmations, and orders
  • Urgent — time-sensitive items flagged by the AI
💡Tip
Hover over any email label to see the AI's reasoning for why it was categorized that way.

#Reading and replying

Click any email to open it in the preview panel. From there you can:

  • Reply / Reply All / Forward — via the action bar or keyboard shortcuts
  • AI Draft — click Draft with AI to generate a context-aware reply
  • Create Task — extract action items from the email into a task
  • Archive / Delete — remove from your inbox
  • Snooze — bring the email back to the top at a later time

#Keyboard shortcuts

  • J / K — navigate to next / previous email
  • R — reply to selected email
  • E — archive selected email
  • T — create task from email
  • # — delete email
  • Space — mark as read / unread
  • ⌘K — open command palette
ℹ️Note
Keyboard shortcuts only work when the inbox has focus. Click anywhere in the email list to ensure focus.

#Composing new emails

Click the Compose button (top-right of the inbox) or press C to open the full-screen composer. It includes:

  • To / CC / BCC fields with contact autocomplete (powered by Google Contacts)
  • Rich text editor with bold, italic, lists, and links
  • AI Assist — describe what you want to write and the AI drafts it
  • Scheduled send — choose when to deliver the email

#Multiple accounts

If you've connected multiple Gmail accounts, use the account switcher in the inbox sidebar to filter by account, or view the unified All Inboxes view.

Each account gets its own colored indicator so you can tell at a glance which account an email belongs to.
