Meetings & Video

Schedule, join, and follow up on meetings — with automatic action item extraction and Google Meet integration.

#Overview

Delegate's meetings module connects directly to Google Calendar and Google Meet. Every meeting you attend is tracked — with AI-generated summaries, action items, and decisions captured automatically.

#Types of meetings

  • Scheduled meeting — created from a calendar event, with all attendees and context pre-loaded
  • Instant meeting — start an ad-hoc Google Meet right from Delegate with one click
  • Board meeting — structured meeting format with agenda, decisions, and AI agent participation

#Creating a scheduled meeting

1

Click New Meeting

Click New Meeting in the Meetings sidebar, or press M in the command palette.
2

Fill in the details

Add a title, date, time, attendees (with autocomplete from Google Contacts), and an optional agenda.
3

Choose a platform

Select the video platform: Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or In Person with a location.
4

Save and invite

Click Create. The meeting is added to Google Calendar and invitations are sent to all attendees.

#AI meeting summaries

After a meeting ends, Delegate's AI generates a structured summary including:

  • Key points — bullet-point summary of what was discussed
  • Decisions — agreed-upon decisions from the meeting
  • Action items — auto-created as tasks assigned to meeting participants
  • Next meeting — suggested follow-up date based on the conversation
ℹ️Note
Meeting summaries require a transcript. Connect a transcription service in Settings → Integrations → Meetings.

#Board meetings

Board meetings are a structured format for high-stakes discussions. They support:

  • Numbered agenda items with voting
  • AI agent participation via Agent Runtime
  • Formal decisions with required approvals
  • Immutable records stored in the Knowledge Base
